With today's tight inventory and plenty of buyers competing for the same properties, don't forget to add a cover letter to your offer. A handwritten letter from the borrower(s) on how much they love the home and can see raising their kids there, etc. (you get the picture) as well as a letter from you relaying some pertinent info could be what it takes to get your offer accepted in this competitive environment. I (Bill Holmes with Front Street Mortgage) will also provide, with any of my pre-approval letters, a brief printed bio and testimonials from buyers and REALTORS® that may also help strengthen the offer.
