This vacation home is located 12 miles North of Michigan’s favorite vacation destination, Traverse City and 5 miles south of the quaint Village of Suttons Bay. This location is one of the few places on the Leelanau Peninsula where there is a true Southern exposure-direct sun all day and the lights of Traverse City competing with the stars for your attention during the evening hours. This vacation home is nestled in a mature wooded setting with plenty of elbow room for the kids to roam. Cross the street (35 mph) and there is one hundred feet of white, sugar sand, private beach for you to enjoy. The water is perfect for young children, with a shallow and a sandy bottom. Swim and sunbathe during the day and each evening you’ll gather around the (beach) bonfire telling stories and watching shooting stars! A boat mooring for a small boat will be available for your use. The 1350 square foot home was beautifully remodeled in 2006 and features an open floor plan, oak flooring, white bead board paneling, a fireplace and a 36 x 10 outside deck offering expansive Bay views. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a private bath with shower. The second bedroom has 3 single beds and a double bed. The main bathroom has a bathtub/ shower unit and dryer for your use. Cable TV, a VCR and high speed wireless internet connection will be available. We do not allow smoking within the residence nor are pets allowed at any time.
